Dr Marvelson Ima Obasogie was born on the 12th April to Prince & Mrs. Harrison E Obasogie in Benin City, Nigeria.
Attended Ivbiore Primary School, Benin City, did his Secondary education at Baptist High School Benin City between 1983 &1988 and earned his WASC with Distinctions in Dec 1988.
He attended Ambrose Alli University (formerly Edo State University), and the Medical School, University Of Benin, Benin City where he qualified as a Medical Doctor in Dec 2003.
He worked with the Nigerian Army Hospital and Airforce Hospital, between July 2004 and December 2006.
He attended The Etisalat Academy, Dubai UAE where he earned a Diploma In Health Safety and Environment (HSE) in June 2004, did 2 day training program on High Yield Investment Programs (HYIPs) in Dubai September 2003 under the discipline of James Hu Seng. James Hu Seng is the leading Light in HYIPs. James Hu Seng was later to nominate Dr Marvelson Ima Obasogie to succeed him as the Roundtable Chairman on HYIPs of the Prestigious 35,000 member strong MoneyMakerGroup(MMG) in January 2005.
In November 2005, he attended an Advanced Training Program on Forex Trading at the high brow Market Traders Institute (MTI), Dubai UAE under the tutelage of Javez Martinez, CEO/Chief FX Strategist of MTI. Javez Martinez has a FX Trading portfolio of $900million and is regarded as one of the top 5 FX Traders/Trainers worldwide.
Dr Obasogie incorporated his first firm in 2000 while still in Medical School.
Dr Obasogie pioneered HYIPs seminars in Continental Africa in February 2004 and organized his Legendary Internet Millionaires Summit (IMS) in 13 cities within Nigeria and 16 other cities in Africa, Middle East & Asia. IMS held in Cairo, Rabat, Banjul, Nairobi, Freetown, Addis Ababa, Johannesburg, Kinshasa, Douala, Dubai, Mumbai, Mauritius to mention a few. He has protégées from 15 countries on his HYIP mentoring/mailing list.
Dr Obasogie started organizing Forex Trading seminars in March 2006 tagging it “Winning Ways In Forex Trading” and this seminars have held in 16 cities within Nigeria and 11 other locations within Africa and The Middle east. He incorporated Ephrathah Wealth LLC in 2006 to meet the challenges of e-business events management and the demands of International Seminars. There are over 1900 persons on his FX mailing list.
Dr Marvelson Ima Obasogie was a Roundtable Chairman on HYIPs in the Prestigious MoneyMakerGroup (MMG) from January 2005 to July 2007.He is the longest serving Roundtable Chairman and the only Black person to have occupied that position.
He is a Gold Card member of the London Gold Exchange (LGE).
He is a well sought after Seminar & Conference Resource Person and has shared platforms with eminent global personalities in three continents. Such personalities include Rhys Bush, Terence Smith, Daljeet Singh, Dr Sunny Obazu-Ojeagbase President/Publisher of SuccessDigestExtra, Mr. Uju Onyechere National President of Association of Motivational Speakers of Nigeria etc.
He is a Chartered Market Technician (CMT).
Dr Ima is a FX Trading Legend. He is listed in the FXcast Traders’ Hall Of Fame. By this feat, he became the first black man, the first African & Nigerian to be so listed. As at today, no other African has attained this feat.
He is a noted Contributor in several International forex trading forums and journals. He is the Columnist anchoring “Winning Ways In Forex Trading” in several Personal finance publications in Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa.
He is married to Grace I Obasogie and they are blessed with daughter Salome and son Gaius.
